Often, a diverse range of assets are involved, requiring the specialist skills of an experienced team of Valuation Surveyors in order to achieve accurate valuations.
Our comprehensive service in this area includes carrying out inspections of the properties or assets involved. Where appropriate, our valuation Surveyors will consider the land value, and assess the building value and its remaining life-expectancy. Our reports also include a site plan and photographs of each property to provide detail and evidence our findings.
Having undertaken a number of asset valuation projects on behalf of local authorities, we understand the challenges of working with local authority buildings. Our team are able to act quickly and discreetly and will arrange to visit each property at a time that is suitable.
Our extensive experience of working with local authorities means we are familiar with the CIPFA Code of Practice for Local Authority Accounting requirements that need to be met, and all valuations will be produced in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). All valuation reports on the individual properties concerned follow a set format, which can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the organisation.
Given appropriate notice, we are also able to complete asset valuations within tight timescales or to meet a specified deadline date.
