Congratulations are in order to Dominic Brown who has now achieved MRICS Chartered Surveyor status with the RICS!
Dominic is now a Chartered Commercial Property Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, after having successfully undertaken the RICS’s Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) in May 2021.
This follows a rigorous training process with Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors via our RICS approved Structured Training Plan.
Dominic joined Lea Hough in 2020 after having started his APC training process with another firm of Chartered Surveyors, and after earlier having completed a BSc (Hons) degree in 2018.
Our team of Chartered Surveyors at Lea Hough have assisted Dominic throughout his time with the firm, providing a great and varied experience and appropriate supervision/guidance to enable him to go forward for his APC. As with all of the aspiring Chartered Surveyors in our team, we also assisted Dominic with Supervisor’s APC Review Meetings, reviewed Critical Analysis and documentation prior to submission to the RICS, and carried out mock APC interviews in preparation for the APC Final Assessment.
All of this has paid dividends with Dominic passing his APC at the first attempt and being awarded the MRICS Chartered Surveyor designation!
Lea Hough has a track record of “growing our own” and developing graduates into fully qualified Chartered Surveyors. Dominic is the latest in a line of Lea Hough Surveyors who have become Chartered during recent years, which includes Gareth Clarke, Thomas Sutton, James Leech, etc. James Roberts has also recently attained AssocRICS and RICS Registered Valuer status with the RICS. We can now boast 11 Chartered Surveyors within the firm, which is the highest number of Chartered Surveyors the practice has ever had.
Dominic’s decision to change his employer mid-way through his APC training period proved to be a good one as Lea Hough were able to offer the required experience and support to enable him to become Chartered at the first attempt.
