Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors is delighted to announce the successful completion and handover of a new purpose-built nursery facility at Croft Primary School in Warrington.
The impressive new 350m² nursery building has now been officially handed over to the school and is ready to welcome children, providing modern, high-quality early years accommodation for children from nursery age through to Reception.
The completed project represents the culmination of many months of planning with the school, which is part of One Community Trust, with Lea Hough supporting throughout every stage of the development.
From Initial Concept to Completed Building
The project began with the vision of expanding the school’s early years provision to meet growing demand for high-quality nursery places within the local community.
Working closely with Croft Primary School, Mat Wright and the team at Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors developed the initial concept for the new facility before helping the school secure the funding needed to bring the project to life.
Lea Hough then guided the scheme through the planning process, successfully obtaining Planning Permission before managing the procurement of the construction works.
With all the necessary approvals in place, specialist education building contractor Moduplan was appointed to deliver the new-build facility.
Construction has now been completed, with the new nursery building delivered on programme, within budget and to an exceptionally high standard. The spacious, purpose-designed facility has been created to provide a modern learning environment for young children, supporting the school’s ambition to offer outstanding early years education from nursery through to Reception.
The client is delighted with the finished building, which has been carefully designed to meet the needs of pupils, staff and families while complementing the existing school campus.
The success of the project reflects the close collaboration between all the parties involved.
From developing the original proposal and securing funding through to planning, procurement and project delivery, Lea Hough worked alongside the school to ensure every stage progressed smoothly.
The quality of the completed building is also testament to the expertise of Moduplan, whose professional approach ensured the project was delivered efficiently and to the highest construction standards.
