Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors are pleased to have been appointed by Lancaster Charity to survey 55 residential properties in Lancaster and to implement a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme of repair works and refurbishments.
The Lancaster Charity organisation has a proud history, having been providing shelter and accommodation to the people of Lancaster since 1913, and is a member of the National Association of Almshouses.
Our Chartered Building Surveyors will survey the property portfolio, provide advice regarding prioritising works, specifying repair works, improvements and refurbishments. We will obtain tender prices from contractors and act as Contract Administrator/Project Manager to oversee the works through to completion. This will include appointing contractors, monitoring standard of workmanship, and agreeing contractors’ final accounts. We will also undertake the role of Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations.
Additionally, some of the properties are important Listed buildings and we will prepare drawings and obtain Listed Building Consent for works at these houses.
