We have a great opportunity for a Building Surveyor, with minimum one to two years’ work experience to join our team at Lea Hough.

The Role

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Building Surveyor, with experience, to strengthen and develop our Building Surveying consultancy.

The role may particularly appeal to a part-qualified Building Surveyor, or a Building Surveying graduate who has post-graduation experience, who wishes to become an MRICS qualified Chartered Building Surveyor.

The successful applicant will enjoy a varied workload, which will include design and specification of project work, tendering, contract administration, CDM Principal Designer role, etc. There will also be opportunity to be involved with condition survey reports, dilapidations, party wall surveying, planned maintenance programmes, schedules of condition, etc.

Our expert Building Surveying team provide the full range of Building Surveying services across all types of property, including professional Building Surveying work and Project Management.

Additionally, we cover a diverse spread of work for a range of fabulous clients from commercial property, local authorities, housing associations, new-build developers, dioceses and public sector clients.

The Position

This is a permanent position, within our thriving private practice consultancy. The role would be based at our Blackburn office.

This is a career opportunity for a self-motivated candidate with appropriate skills base and post-qualification experience.

We are seeking high calibre candidates with good technical skills, and surveying know-how. Candidates should possess ability to work off own initiative, good communication skills and be capable of fostering client relationships. Local knowledge of the Lancashire/Cumbria/North West region would also be advantageous.
