QEGS, Blackburn - Brooklands Building Redevelopment

The internal remodelling and refurbishment project at the Brooklands Building at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School (QEGS) in Blackburn is nearing completion. The full-scale redevelopment of The Brooklands Building, a former nursing home, commenced in April 2024.

Background:

The Brooklands Building, located on the QEGS’ campus, was identified as being suitable for redevelopment to help the school increase the numbers of pupils on its roll.

In order to transform the building into a modern day teaching block, a major wholescale refurbishment was required.
