Restoration works are progressing well at Longborough Lodge, which is a Grade II Listed property on the Knowsley Estate, close to St Helens.
Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors were appointed by The Knowsley Estate to undertake full Project Management.
The works include complete internal refurbishment and alterations, restoration of the external fabric, new heating system and electrical re-wiring, provision of car parking spaces and works to external grounds, as well as new drainage treatment plant.
Our role has been to undertake detailed surveys and measured surveys, prepare existing plans, elevations and site plan drawings, develop a scheme of proposals, obtain Listed Building Consent and liaise with a Conservation Officer, prepare a detailed Specification and obtain competitive tender prices from contractors, and works are now about to commence on site with a JCT Contract having been placed with a building contractor.
Lea Hough will continue to project manage through to completion in by March 2017.
