Twin Valley Homes right to buy

Lea Hough has been awarded a contract to undertake all ‘Right to Buy’ Valuations for a Blackburn housing association. Twin Valley Homes, a member of the Together Housing Group, has retained the Lea Hough Valuation team to conduct all independent valuations required on their behalf.

Introduced in 1980, ‘Right to Buy’ allows council tenants to purchase the council home they live in at a discounted price. Once the housing association receives a ‘Right to Buy’ application, Lea Hough are instructed to independently advise on the Market Value of the property, which is then used by the housing association to determine a proposed sale price.

The contract win further bolsters Lea Hough’s work in this area, with the firm already having similar contracts in place with a number of local housing associations including Together Housing and Community Gateway.
