Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors have supported the event for the previous three years since its inception in 2014 and this year will be sponsoring the Elderflower Blonde, brewed by award-winning Saltaire Brewery is in Shipley. Described as a refreshing blonde ale infused with the delicate flavour of elderflower, we’ll be sure to enjoy a tipple or two of our ale over the course of the event, which runs from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th April.
The event, now in its fourth year, also features a host of live entertainment in the form of local artists and bands over its three days. With tickets costing just £5 per day, the festival is always hugely popular – last year raising over £20,000.
Paul Dignan, Chartered Surveyor at Lea Hough commented:
“We’re delighted to be part of Blackburn Beer Festival again this year. It’s always a great weekend and it’s hoped this year’s festival will raise even more for Blackburn Youth Zone. With our firm’s close connections to Blackburn, an area where we undertake a great deal of work and have had an office for over 30 years, we are proud to be able to support this event and of course the Youth Zone – an inspirational and much needed facility for the young people of the city.”
Blackburn Youth Zone is a 21st century youth hub located in the heart of Blackburn open to young people aged 8 to 18 years old. Offering up to 20 activities each evening, the centre, which is open 7 days a week, relies on charitable donations and the support of the local business community to provide these activities and services for the low entrance fee of just 50p.
