Lea Hough Blackburn Office

Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors has built a strong reputation as a firm that supports its staff and prioritises their professional growth.

With a commitment to excellence and a focus on supporting its staff, Lea Hough has attained an impressive track record of getting its team members qualified to RICS Registered Valuers or MRICS Chartered Surveyors, the highest professional designations in the industry.

Over the years this approach has allowed us to grow our own talent from within, rather than relying solely on hiring senior Surveyors.

In this blog article, we will explore how Lea Hough supports its staff through its structured training programme to help them to achieve their career goals.

Structured Training Programme

One of the key factors that contributes to Lea Hough’s success in staff qualifications is its comprehensive training programme. The firm recognises that investing in the training and development of its team members is essential for their professional growth and success. The training programme at Lea Hough is approved by the RICS and is tailored to the specific needs of each staff member, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Support from Senior Surveyors

In addition to providing a structured training programme, Lea Hough also ensures that staff have access to and work alongside experienced and knowledgeable senior Surveyors and Valuers. The firm fosters a collaborative environment, where trainee Surveyors can work closely with Chartered Surveyors to gain valuable insights and guidance. This mentorship allows the firm’s trainees to learn and grow at their own pace, while also benefiting from the expertise and experience of more qualified team members.

Our more senior Surveyors also assist with Supervisor’s APC Review Meetings, reviews of Critical Analysis and documentation prior to submission to the RICS, and carrying out mock APC interviews in preparation for the APC Final Assessment.

Growing Talent from Within

By investing in the development and progression of its team members, Lea Hough is able to cultivate a team of experienced professionals who are not only highly skilled but also committed to the firm’s values and objectives. We are only too happy to support those at the start of their career path to achieve their ambitions, provided they show the right talent, skills and enthusiasm.

Through its structured training program and growing talent from within, Lea Hough has consistently helped several staff members to qualify as RICS Registered Valuers or MRICS Chartered Surveyors.
