Lea Hough’s School Building Consultancy team have once again supported several schools across the North West submit bids for vital government funding. In the run-up to the Tuesday 16 December 2025 CIF deadline, our Education Team has been hard at work preparing bids on behalf of our school clients.
Some of this work has been ongoing for several months – beginning with carrying out surveys and feasibility studies. Following this, our team have been gathering detailed evidence, and developing well-structured, well-evidenced applications for the 2026-27 CIF round. Thanks to the dedication of our team and the close collaboration of our client schools, we are pleased to have submitted a strong set of bids ahead of this year’s deadline.
This success builds on what has already been an excellent year for our School Building Consultancy services. In the 2025-26 CIF round, we helped schools secure hundreds of thousands of pounds of funding, enabling much-needed improvements such as roof replacements, safeguarding enhancements, heating and electrical upgrades, and other essential works.
The summer holidays also saw our Education Team oversee and deliver improvement projects across the region. Through careful contract administration and on-site management, we work closely with schools to ensure projects progress safely and are delivered on time and to a high standard.
As we close another CIF cycle, we are proud of the results achieved and thankful to the schools and trusts who continue to rely on our expertise. We look forward to supporting even more schools in 2026, helping them secure funding and enhance their estates for the benefit of staff and pupils alike.
