Earlier this month, Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors proudly partnered with Little Lever School in Bolton for their annual Year 11 Mock Interview Day. This is the fourth year our team has been involved in the initiative, which is aimed at providing valuable interview experience for Year 11 students.
The full day event provides students with the opportunity to practice and refine their interview skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. The day consisted of a series of 20-minute mock interviews with Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors acting as one of the mock prospective employers.
The purpose of the Mock Interview Day is to provide students with a realistic simulation of a job interview. The interviewing panel of ‘employers’ asks a range of questions, from personal to professional, to help students understand the types of questions that are commonly asked in job interviews. The process encourages students to think on their feet and provide thoughtful responses to each question.
Each student receives a feedback form following the Mock Interview Day to further help them identify any areas where they can improve, enabling them to develop strategies for success in future interviews.
Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors has been actively involved in supporting local schools for many years. This event is just one of many initiatives we undertake to give back to the community. By participating in Mock Interview Days and similar, we hope to help equip students with the necessary skills and mindset to excel in their future careers.
At Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors, we are committed to supporting local schools and ensuring that students have access to opportunities that will help them gain confidence and empower them to succeed in the competitive job market. We look forward to continuing our partnership and providing further assistance to Little Lever School in the years to come.
