Role involves:
William is an RICS Registered Valuer and Associate Member of the RICS who undertakes a range of valuation and advisory instructions across the commercial, residential and land sectors.
Most of his day-to-day work is focused on Commercial Property Valuation, together with Residential Valuation and Landlord and Tenant matters. He acts on behalf of a wide range of clients including lenders, solicitors, accountants, pension providers, local authorities, property investors, landlords, tenants and private individuals.
William carries out valuations for secured lending, pension and SIPP purposes, probate, financial reporting, acquisitions and disposals, alongside other valuation requirements. He also advises clients in relation to rent reviews, lease renewals and other landlord and tenant matters.

Area of expertise:
William has experience valuing a wide variety of commercial property, including retail premises, office accommodation, industrial units, mixed-use investments and development land.
His work involves a range of valuation instructions for lending, pensions, taxation, accounting and transactional purposes. He regularly undertakes secured lending valuations, pension and SIPP valuations, probate valuations, insurance reinstatement assessments and valuations in support of property acquisitions and disposals.
Alongside his commercial valuation work, William provides advice on landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews and lease renewals. He also undertakes residential valuation instructions for purposes such as Right to Buy, Right to Acquire, Shared Ownership, Help to Buy, probate and transfer of equity.
Career overview:
William joined Lea Hough in 2024 after graduating from Leeds Beckett University with a 2:1 degree in Real Estate and Property Management.
He became an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS) and an RICS Registered Valuer in 2025. He is currently undertaking the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) through Lea Hough’s Structured Training programme, working towards Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) status.
Since obtaining his AssocRICS qualification and becoming an RICS Registered Valuer, William has continued to broaden his experience across the commercial. Residential and land sectors, undertaking a wide range of valuation instructions for diverse clients and property types.
When not in work:
Away from work, William is currently studying towards achieving his MRICS qualification.
He is an avid supporter of Manchester United and also enjoys watching Rugby Leage, particularly following the Wigan Warriors. William is a keen gym-goer and plays Saturday Leage football for his local club.
He also enjoys travelling, with Florida being his favourite destination, where he particularly enjoys offshore fishing.
