As a member of our Survey & Valuation team, Lucas carries out residential property inspections for a range of clients. He prepares Valuation Reports, Level 2 Home Survey Reports and assists with other types of Property Valuations.

Area of expertise:
Lucas’ main focus is on residential property. Working alongside experienced colleagues, Lucas undertakes Level 2 Home Surveys (Homebuyer Reports) and Valuations of residential property throughout Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
He undertakes property inspections, writes survey reports, and assesses the value of properties, providing advice to clients and prospective purchasers of buildings. Working alongside Chartered Surveyors and RICS Registered Valuer colleagues, Lucas is gaining a variety of experience by undertaking many different types of property surveys and valuations.
Career overview:
Lucas graduated from the University of Salford, in 2024, with a BSc. (Hons) degree in Building Surveying.
Since graduation, Lucas has gained surveying experience by working alongside qualified Chartered Surveyors to undertake Level 2 and Level 3 residential home surveys. He also assists with Help-to-Buy Valuations and drafted Home Survey Reports under the guidance of Chartered Surveyors and RICS Registered Valuer colleagues.
Prior to joining Lea Hough, Lucas studied full-time and complemented his studies by undertaking labouring roles on building sites, further developing his knowledge of construction techniques.
Lucas is the latest in a line of surveyors to be following Lea Hough’s structured training programme that is approved by the RICS, and he is working towards qualification as AssocRICS Valuation Surveyor, and RICS Registered Valuer.
When not in work:
When not socialising, Lucas enjoys staying active though exercise and trying out different sports. He is a big football fan supporting Manchester United and likes spending time outdoors, especially walking his dog or getting together with friends and family.
