We are pleased to announce that Lea Hough has overseen the practical completion of a further two units at Spring Gardens, Colne. Units 6 and 7 recently reached practical completion by the Contractor and have now been sold to a Purchaser. The units are the latest completions on this large new-build industrial development site on behalf of our client, Reeves Property Group.
As Employer’s Agent, we administered the JCT Design & Build Contract on behalf of Reeves Property Group, with the main contractor responsible for the construction being MSM Construction.
Units 6 and 7 have been purchased by a property investor who intends to rent out the units. In fact, one of the units has already been let, demonstrating the demand for commercial space in this area.
In addition to the successful completion of these two units, the first terrace of units (3A-3D) reached Practical Completion earlier in 2024. With a number of businesses now in situ at the site, it is exciting to see the beginnings of what is set to become a thriving industrial estate.
The ongoing construction of the remaining units at the site is progressing well. When complete, there will be a total of 9 units available, providing a diverse range of opportunities for businesses looking to expand or relocate to Colne.
The successful project marks a significant milestone in the overall development of the site, and we are pleased to have played our part in the successful delivery of these units. We are excited to see the continued growth and success of the development, and we look forward to working with the contractors to oversee the completion of the remaining units in the coming months.
