Chorley Business and Technology Centre

A new-build office block that Lea Hough has been overseeing has been completed this month, and its new tenant has already taken occupancy! Following a relatively short construction period and office fit-out, also overseen by Lea Hough, Chorley Business & Technology Centre, Euxton, is now the new home to Positive Solutions.

The new office has been developed on behalf of Chorley Business & Technology Centre to facilitate the expansion and growth of one of their existing long-standing tenants (Positive Solutions). CBTC a business park operator and landlord are a longstanding client of Lea Hough’s. The new-build office joins a further 6 existing office units on the site, all of which have been developed over recent years with our assistance.

Lea Hough has been involved in the project right from the start – having been instructed to prepare drawings, and thereafter to obtain planning permission and building regulations approval. Once the construction phase began, our team assumed the project management role – liaising with the construction team, building control, and ensuring the project was completed to specification.

Well-established long term working relationships have been developed to form a highly efficient construction team comprising J Wareing & Sons (Structural Frame & Cladding), MW Contracts (Groundworks),  ACE Mechanical Services (Mechanical Services), Cronshaw Facilities Management (Electrical Services), as well as the client’s in-house site team ensure an highly efficient building and fit out process.

Having delivered the construction of the main structure/shell on time and to specification, Positive Solutions instructed the office fit-out phase of the build – turning the shell of the new-build property into a vibrant, modern workspace.

Following relocation of Positive Solution into their new building, Phase 2 of the project can now commence with the demolition of the former building occupied by Positive Solutions (Solutions House), allowing the re-configuration and remodelling of associated external parking areas to meet the demands of this busy and sought-after business park.
