An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Land Manager / Strategic Development Advisor to strengthen and develop our small but highly respected and successful Planning & Land Development team.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can demonstrate a proven track record of success in the land development and disposal sector. This is a senior position and applicants should have relevant professional qualifications in Land Development/Disposal, Surveying, or Planning.

Our Planning & Land Development team typically identify land with development potential, project-manage matters through the development process, gaining planning permissions, through to ultimately selling the land to developers. Our team operates predominantly, but not exclusively, within the residential development land sector within the North West of England and Scotland.

The successful candidate will have a wide breadth of knowledge to advise landowning clients through the development process from initial site opportunity identification through to maximising development value with appropriate marketing and disposal, encompassing strategic planning skills and overall project management team leading.

Applicants should possess a thorough knowledge of the land development and residential planning process, be capable of appraising land opportunities, have ability to manage external consultants and be skilled in relation to land disposal/sales. Candidates must have good communication and negotiation skills and be commercially astute.

This is a full time, permanent position. We offer an excellent salary and bonus scheme, company car or car allowance and additional benefits. Package is negotiable dependent upon experience. Role to be based at either Buckshaw Village or Blackburn offices.
