We are pleased to announce that Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors has once again achieved outstanding results in the latest round of the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) 2025/6. The CIF is one of the most important funding sources for Academy Schools and each year provides capital funding for important school building, maintenance and improvement projects across England.
In what has been an extremely competitive year, with only 789 out of 2,846 applications approved nationally (representing an approval rate of just 27%), Lea Hough’s results speak volumes about the quality of the applications prepared by our team of School Building Consultants.
Lea Hough secured more successful bids in Lancashire than any other consultant, continuing our long-standing track record of supporting schools across the region. These successful bids will translate into vital funding to improve school buildings, from roof replacements and heating system upgrades to safeguarding enhancements and fire safety improvement schemes.
In addition to our success in Lancashire, we are proud to be the only consultant to have any bids approved in Westmorland and Furness (South Cumbria). This demonstrates our ability to prepare competitive, high-quality applications; even in areas with limited overall approval.
