Patrick has recently joined Lea Hough in the role of Senior Building Surveyor as a member of the Building Surveying team. On the project-management side, Patrick’s tasks include survey inspections, design, specifications, schedules of work, tenders, and contract administration of property refurbishment projects for a variety of clients.
Patrick is an experienced and adaptable Building Surveyor and his role also includes preparing professional reports such as building survey reports, schedules of condition, schedules of dilapidations, party wall surveys, stock condition survey reports, and feasibility studies.

Patrick likes to use his Building Surveying career experience to good effect, enjoying being involved with projects from concept to completion, working through every stage of the process to successfully deliver the clients’ requirements.
Patrick has been surveying for 21 years since gaining his BSc (Hons) Building Surveying in 1999 and is AssocRICS and MCIOB professionally qualified. He is on-track to achieve MRICS status in 2021 having enjoyed a wide and varied surveying career.
Patrick has over a decade of experience working for large local government authorities including Lancashire County Council. He then worked for British Cycling for five years delivering their strategic national facilities programme which include projects such as £30m Derby Arena indoor velodrome and the refurbishment of the historic 1948 Olympic velodrome Herne Hill, London.
Whilst at Network Space, his duties included managing dilapidations of the company’s 3 million sq. ft portfolio across 60 locations with more than 700 tenants with a combined value of £130m. As Principle Surveyor at Fairhome Group he led the team of surveyors in the acquisition, redevelopment and sale of specialist supported living care home projects.
Patrick joined Lea Hough from a practice of Chartered Surveyors based in Cumbria where clients included the National Trust, the Lake District National Parks as well as private residential, commercial, retail and industrial.
When not in work:
Patrick enjoys nothing more than the great outdoors. As an experienced former champion road and track tracing cyclist, he once rode to Gretna Green, Scotland and back home in a day, 210 miles, just for fun….
The Lake District is his most favourite place to be whether its walking, camping, kayaking or cycling of course. When he’s not moving.…, he loves spending time with the children, family and friends.
