Lea Hough Start the Year with New Appointment
Lea Hough has started the year with the appointment of an experienced Building Surveyor. Paul Dennis has joined our Blackburn office to take up a role within the Building Surveying team.
Paul’s workload will include a variety of tasks, including survey inspections / condition survey reports for commercial clients, property owners and school clients, as well as project management and Party Wall Surveying.
Paul has many years’ experience in property renovation and surveying, alongside undertaking condition survey inspections and specification/project management for both public sector and private clients. Paul is particularly interested in defect diagnosis and the renovation of old buildings, and having initially qualifying as a Chartered Landscape Architect before converting to become a Building Surveyor, Paul’s experience lends itself to a wide variety of projects.
Also with a specialism in Party Wall matters, Paul is a Member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors (MFPWS), and has an extensive portfolio of experience working on a variety of Party Wall cases, both locally and nationally.
As a Building Surveyor at Lea Hough, Paul will follow the firm’s structured training programme to become a Chartered Building Surveyor with the RICS.
Michael Harrison, Partner commented:
“We’re delighted to welcome another knowledgeable Surveyor to our ranks, especially one such as Paul who has a wide breadth of experience”.
“In particular, Paul has joined Lea Hough due to our ability to support his career progression and provide the training capacity for him to become a Chartered Surveyor. This goes to show the coveted MRICS qualification – that becoming Chartered – is something that can be achieved at any age or stage of an individual’s career.”
