Thomas Sutton

Role Involves:

Thomas is part of our Survey & Valuation team and his role is focussed on valuations of residential and commercial property, RICS Homebuyer Reports, full Building Survey Reports, and Specific Defect Reports.

He is working towards becoming a Chartered Valuation Surveyor and is following Lea Hough’s structured training programme that is approved by the RICS.

Area of expertise:

Thomas’ main skills relate to assessing the value and condition of all types of residential and commercial property.

Having undertaken a Building Surveying degree, Thomas has excellent knowledge of construction and enjoys inspecting all types of buildings. He is thorough and applies his detailed construction knowledge when assessing the condition of buildings.

Likewise, when advising prospective purchasers upon the valuation of a property, he adopts a methodical approach, researching data from the local markets to identify trends and considering all factors, to establish the true market value of a building.

Career Overview:

Thomas joined our team in August 2016, after graduating from the University of Salford, with a first class degree in Building Surveying.

Prior to working at Lea Hough, he worked as a Design Consultant, designing and planning kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms for several years whilst studying for his degree.

When not in work:

Thomas is a keen sports fan and is a season ticket holder at Blackburn Rovers FC. He also enjoys cooking, travelling and socialising with friends and family.
