Much of David’s work involves identifying potential development sites then working with landowners to secure optimum planning consents, followed by subsequent disposals.
His role also includes a wider range of development services, including land appraisals, valuations and advice on all types of development matters.

David combines a legal background with his surveying experience and has an in depth knowledge of planning and development and everything that it involves.
Acting for various private landowners David works tirelessly promoting sites on their behalf, or through contractual agreements with developers.
After initially studying law at University, David followed in his father Richard’s footsteps when he joined Lea Hough in 2007, then becoming a partner in 2013.
David has worked on some of Lea Hough’s most significant development projects to date including Buckshaw Village and Bishopton, both of which are 1,000 + acre mixed use development sites.
David provides expert advice to the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA) in relation to strategic holdings in Central Lancashire.
When not in work:
David enjoys golf, walking and socialising with friends and family.
