Alex is involved in preparing architectural design drawings and securing Planning Permission and Building Regulations approvals for extensions, conversions and refurbishments, then developing these to prepare specifications and tender documentation, and manages construction projects on site.
Alex works closely with the Building Surveying and Planning & Development team on a range of projects, including preparing development proposal plans.
He also prepares Land Transfer Plans for conveyance purposes.

Area of expertise:
Alex has specific experience in designing extensions, refurbishments and conversions particularly for schools and academies, vicarages, and residential and commercial clients. He oversees projects from initial design stage, right through to completion on site.
Alex joined Lea Hough in February 2013 and completed his final year of University on a part-time basis before graduating that June. Prior to this, Alex worked as an Assistant Building Surveyor for two and a half years for a private practice in Lancashire.
When not in work:
Alex plays cricket for Gregson Lane Cricket Club, enjoys cycling, dog walking and socialising with friends and family.
