Lea Hough Invest in the Future With New Recruit

Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors has strengthened our surveying team with a new appointment.  Mat Wright joins the firm as a Trainee Building Surveyor to assist with our growing workload. Mat’s role will involve assisting with inspections of buildings, measured surveys, design drawings, the preparation of condition reports and project management services.

Alongside this, Mat is working towards becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor by following Lea Hough’s RICS-approved structured training programme.

The new recruitment comes only weeks after Lea Hough announced we were joining forces with Lancaster surveying firm, Matthew Parkinson Surveyors.

Paul Dignan, partner, commented:

“Finding experienced MRICS qualified Chartered Surveyors in our sector is proving very difficult so we have decided to take the approach of taking on Mat and training him in house. Our training programme has proven to develop highly skilled Chartered Surveyors and we know that in following this route, we can ensure high standards and quality of service to clients.

“It’s an exciting time to work at Lea Hough at the moment – we have a new Partner, we’re really busy across all areas of the practice and our lovely new offices are proving to be a real hit with staff and visitors alike.”

"I have read your report again and I appreciate the level of detail and the effort you have gone to in surveying the property - thank you. You’re looking at properties every day and you know what you’re looking for – so you’ve seen things that I would never have spotted. You have opened my eyes on numerous defects on this property and am seriously thinking about leaving the idea of buying. The report was money wells spent!"
