Chartered Surveyors Ribble Valley

The Ribble Valley is so called due to the River Ribble which flows towards its estuary near Preston. The borough is at the heart of Lancashire and it is popular with tourists who enjoy the area’s natural unspoilt beauty, much of which lies within the Forest of Bowland, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The Ribble Valley is now a bustling tourist destination, particularly for walkers and cyclists, with its spectacular commanding fells, lush green valleys, rivers and reservoirs. In the Ribble Valley are quaint market towns such as Clitheroe and Longridge and picturesque villages brimming with individual shops, historic treasures and tales. The Ribble Valley is overlooked by the magnificent Pendle Hill, which is famous for the Pendle Witches. There are also villages such as Ribchester where remains of ancient Roman settlements exist. Ribble Valley is fast becoming known for the local culinary delights with first class restaurants and hospitality.
