Chartered Surveyors Preston

Preston was granted city status in 2002. Preston has a proud history, being one of Lancashire’s largest districts. It has excellent transport links, being located just off the M6 motorway and with Preston railway station being on the West Coast Main Line. The River Ribble runs through the city, off which is Preston Docks. Preston is a student hub, with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) now being the sixth largest university in the country, with over 33,000 students. Preston is a major centre of the British defence aerospace industry, being home to BAE Systems. Preston offers bustling indoor and outdoor markets, shopping centres, museums, Listed buildings, and parks such as Avenham Park, which have a long, proud history of their own. Preston’s Purple Flag Award also promises quality entertainment and a safe, vibrant night out, with its bars, pubs and clubs, restaurants and the Guild Hall. Prestonians also have a proud sporting history, with Preston North End (PNE) being the club supported by several of our Surveyors!
