Chartered Surveyors Leyland

About Leyland

Leyland is a town in the South Ribble district, in the county of Lancashire, approximately five miles south of Preston and five miles north of Chorley. Famous s the home of bus and truck manufacturer Leyland Motors, now owned by Paccar, Leyland has seen a large growth in industry, population and farming, and subsequently housing developments that make use of the surrounding usable arable land.

Aside from Leyland Motors, Leyland also has its own local identity and offers a thriving business community including a range of independent retailers. Nearby to Leyland is the recent Buckshaw Village development near Euxton, where our office is situated.

There are many attractions in and around Leyland such as Worden Park, Runshaw College, South Ribble Museum and The British Commercial Vehicle Museum.

"I have read your report again and I appreciate the level of detail and the effort you have gone to in surveying the property - thank you. You’re looking at properties every day and you know what you’re looking for – so you’ve seen things that I would never have spotted. You have opened my eyes on numerous defects on this property and am seriously thinking about leaving the idea of buying. The report was money wells spent!"
